OKAKARARA - The NTA Board Chairperson, Mr. Jerome Mutumba and the CEO, Mr. Erick Nenghwanya visited the Okakarara Vocational Training Centre on the 20th of May 2024. The visit was to inspect the construction site at Pamwe and meet with the OVTC Management.
The meeting was not only attended by NTA Staff but the Central Procurement Board of Namibia was represented too.
The construction at Pamwe is well on course and the building is anticipated to be occupied by January 2025.
Following deliberations with various project teams and sections to ensure the full completion of the project, the duo together with the Procurement Manager Richard Ndjahera and Projects Supervisor, Gad Kangueehi, the NTA executives toured the Centre to inspect the works done by the Centre and it trainees.
Moses Tjirare, the Centre Manager of Okakarara Vocational Training Centre used the opportunity to present the Centre’s future plans to the NTA executives. In addition, the management team at OVTC seized the moment and highlighted on the success stories that the Centre has to show. Some of the highlights were the constructions completed by the Centre using trainees and the expertise at the disposal of the training institution.
The visiting team was presented with a t-shirt produced at the OVTC Clothing Production Unit in Okakarara.
