Windhoek: Namibia hosted the Africa Hospitality Investment Forum in Windhoek from 25 -27 June 2024 at Movenpick Hotel. Two students in Namibia were given an opportunity to join AHIF as Ambassadors.
Nepemba Karomo an apprentice of Gondwana Collections Namibia from hospitality and tourism was offered an opportunity to be an ambassador from the Okakarara Vocational Training Centre at the AHIF conference in Windhoek.
Ms Karomo was excited to be part of the international conference addressing investment opportunities within the hospitality fraternity. She further states that this was an opportunity for her to showcase her skills and excel in her duties as an ambassador.
“I am so happy to represent OVTC and Namibia at such a prestigious event of that magnitude. This gave me the opportunity to serve and rub shoulders with the who’s who in the hospitality and tourism industry. I applied all due diligence and professionalism during my tenure as an ambassador” says Nepemba Karomo.
The OVTC is proud of Nepemba Karomo and wish her all the best.
We encourage other trainees to be involved in such events.
