TSUMEB: The Okakarara Vocational Training Centre (OVTC) is currently hosting its 2025/26 Operational Planning Retreat in Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, from March 17 to March 19, 2025. This strategic gathering aims to streamline processes and assess the overall performance of the Centre, ensuring its continued growth and excellence in vocational training.
The retreat provides a platform for the OVTC leadership to evaluate past performance, identify areas for improvement, and enhance collaboration among various divisions. Through this initiative, the Centre seeks to solidify its status as a premier institution of technical and vocational education, fostering innovation and efficiency.

To ensure its success, OVTC will host quarterly meetings to track progress and make necessary adjustments to meet its strategic objectives.
All management team members, including section heads, are actively participating in the retreat, reinforcing a collective commitment to OVTC’s mission of excellence in vocational training and skills development. By fostering collaboration and setting clear goals, the Centre is positioning itself as a leading force in Namibia’s technical education sector.
